M line wins Brussels Balthazar Award for ‘Best International’ with revolutionary bed base Element
M line won the prestigious Brussels Balthazar Award in the ‘Best International’ category at the Brussels Furniture Fair. This award was granted to the innovative bed base concept Element, which combines sustainability, adaptability and luxury sleeping comfort in a unique way.
Revolutionary design for sustainable sleep
M line's Element bed base concept, exhibited at the Brussels Furniture Fair, is much more than a traditional box spring. This versatile sleep system offers a fully customisable sleeping environment, where every detail - from the size and upholstery to the headboard and legs - can be designed entirely according to your wishes. The concept responds to the growing need for personalisation and sustainability in the sleep industry.
With its modular and circular design, Element allows users to customise their bed at any time. Components are easily replaceable, allowing return parts to be integrally reused and recycled. This unique feature makes Element not only flexible and future-proof, but also environmentally friendly. ‘The modular technology is very interesting and offers a lot of perspective,’ said jury member Lennart van Uffelen.
Milestone in sleep innovation
Element stands out for its modern look, optimal ventilation and luxurious finish. The adjustable models are equipped with powerful motors, USB/USC ports and ambient lighting. These features ensure ergonomic comfort and longevity. In addition, Element is packed in handy boxes, which is advantageous for both storage and transport.
‘This recognition is the result of the hard work and dedication of our entire team at DBC International. With Element, we set a new standard in sleeping comfort, and we are grateful that our efforts are appreciated. This is a confirmation that top performance does not come naturally,’ said general manager Geert Geerkens.
